CRAFTS CREATIVITY: Summer 2008, Quick donated a part of her great grand parent’s heritage, Tobacco sticks engraved with her grand parent’s family tree. To family members; Oak Heritage House Museum & Library, mentioning a few. These historical sticks were hand made by Mary’s great, grand parents and have survived the” test of time.”
44TH PRESIDENT BABACK OBAMA GIFT: Mary Quick was honored to send Barack Obama one of these historical sticks just before the election in October, 2008. Mary stated that this was certainly her honor to do so, that her great grand parents and those before them would be very proud. Quick’s painting & drawings are inspirational, exciting and revealing.
